Movie Poster

The goal of this project was to create a movie poster based on iconography from well-known movies, without directly lifting currently existing concept art or character illustration. I chose the James Bond movie Casino Royale. I wanted to include Bond's signature martini, but with the twist of a poker table, a la casino. The edges are framed by dotted lines, like the perimeter of a poker chip.

Collage

This project opened the doors to expand my creativity. I was instructed to use at least ten "creative commons" images from the internet to create a unique and unexpected collage.

Pattern Design

The goal of this project was to gain experience with creating different types of patterns. I chose a more minimalist approach, inspired by the clouds that I saw on a spring day.

"Found and Taken" Collage

This project asked me to take at least ten original pictures of the things surrounding me in everyday life, and make a collage out of them. I was inspired partly by the USSR propaganda posters, and partially by heathy eating posters art the doctor's office.
