Process

The first collage was clear in my mind conceptually, but changed during the process of creating it.  I knew that I wanted the look of a waiter holding an open book like a platter with aspects of storybooks spilling out of it, and it evolved from there.

Each element is a separate picture; the phoenix was originally separate from its flame, the handbag from the dove, the waiter from the book, etc.
